We went with custom formulated Alnico 5 and Alnico 8 magnets to provide a smooth throatiness and bark, plenty of torque and drive for the ultimate "Brown Sound” tone. Brushed with a sweetness in the highs, but maintain cutting midrange and bite. Uber responsive to fast pick attack and wondrous note detail, even with huge amounts of amp distortion. Incredible for superfluid legato and liquid lead work- pinch harmonics and lasers to dazzle. Low end is meaty, punchy and assertive without boominess. Immense power-chord heaven sustain that would strip the spots of a leopard at close range!
